We do not allow the following in our venue: outside food and drink (including water), narcotics and illegal substances, drug paraphernalia, laser pointers, spray paint, stickers, chairs, large umbrellas, sports balls, glow sticks, selfie sticks, bicycles, audio/video recording devices with detachable lenses, animals, glass containers, weapons of any kind, and any object that security/management deems unsafe or that can be used as a projectile.

All events will be mobile entry. That means your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print. For a step-by-step guide on using mobile entry please visit Ticketmaster. 

You are welcome to transfer your tickets if you’d like. No additional step is required for e-tickets. For Will Call tickets, you will need to get in touch with Ticketmaster to change the name on the order, as ID matching the name on file must be shown by whoever is picking up the tickets.

The Danforth Music Hall is an entirely cashless venue. All points of sale will accept credit, debit or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). Select points of sale at artist merchandise may accept cash.

All event listings on The Danforth Music Hall website indicate door time. If you would like to learn what time the show begins, please visit the Ticketmaster listing and hit the "More Info" button.

If you are asked to provide identification (ID), you will be required to show the following:

• An official government issued ID (including foreign government issued) with name, picture and birth date; such as a driver’s licence or passport

• A secondary ID that includes name and signature or picture; such as a credit card or student ID

If door staff has any doubt about an ID, they may refuse entry. Photocopies or photographs (on phones) are not acceptable.

If an event is listed as 19+, no one under the age of 19 is permitted in the venue, under any circumstances. For entry to 19+ shows, you will be required to show valid (not expired) government-issued photo ID. Photocopies or photographs (on phones) are not acceptable.

Unless otherwise stated, ins & outs are permitted. Get a stamp at the door before exiting. Drinks are not allowed to be taken outside.

Subject to capacity, Coat Check is located in the main lobby. It costs $5.00 plus tax per item. Credit, debit, and mobile forms of payment are accepted.

If you have lost an item during an event, please let one of our bartenders or coat check know. If you have already left the venue, please contact as at info@thedanforth.com and we will do our best to locate the item.

If you find a lost item during an event, please return the item to the nearest bar or coat check so we can locate the owner.

At Danforth Music Hall, great events are the heart of what we do. An important part of any great event is ensuring a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for our guests, artists and staff to experience.

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We ask that your conduct contribute to everyone’s enjoyment of the event, be legally appropriate, and not be offensive or abusive to others. This also includes respecting our neighbours and local businesses while lining up early.

For your safety and comfort, unacceptable conduct is subject to ejection and includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Use of foul, threatening, offensive or abusive language or gestures.
• Discrimination, bullying or hate that harasses, victimizes, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, race, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, ability, physical appearance or other.
• Harassment, including unwelcome or hostile behaviour, physical contact or sexual attention.
• Fighting or any other type of violence.
• Wearing or using clothing, signs, and banners which are offensive in nature.
• Intoxication or impairment due to alcohol/cannabis or consumption of illegal substances.
• Throwing objects or interfering with the progress of the event.
• Being in possession of alcohol not purchased inside the venue.
• Being a minor in possession of alcohol or providing a minor with alcohol.
• Being in possession of weapons, illegal substances or any other prohibited items.
• Smoking (including e-cigarettes, personal vapourizers, and cannabis) inside the venue.
• Unpermitted access and breaching perimeters to the Danforth Music Hall VIP areas or other restricted areas.
• Any other conduct that may be deemed by Danforth Music Hall to be inappropriate or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property, or disruption of the event.

Arriving early to the venue?

When arriving early for an event, please always ensure to respect our local businesses and neighbours by keeping volume to a respectful level, cleaning up after yourself, and keeping the sidewalk clear for people to walk by and access local businesses.

Live Nation Canada will not tolerate any unsafe, offensive behaviour that violates our Fan Code of Conduct. Failure to abide by this Code may result in ejection, suspension from entering any or all of our venues.

Each of us has a responsibility to report any act that goes against the values that we stand for. So, if you see something, say something. Report any safety concerns to our management team right away.
